Cara grew up playing in the snow of the Colorado Rockies, and yet was always the girl dreaming of living at the beach. Her
love of the ocean grew and led to her spending her collegiate years at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. "I
originally picked Miami so I could study marine biology, but I quickly realized that I am much more of a people person than
that career path allows for, and I ended up with a Bachelor's of Science degree in communications." Although Miami had plenty
of ocean to offer Cara found herself missing the rocky peaks of the mountains where she grew up. "I decided to move to Maui
after college so I could be surrounded by the mountains and the ocean."
Cara obtained her Real Estate license in 2006 and has been helping buyers and sellers on Maui ever since. "My initial real
estate focus was actually in West Maui and Upcountry, but I wanted to work with McEntire Realty in Wailea so that I could join
the sales team on the new development, Kai Ani Village. I'm really passionate about green building and the opportunity to work
on such an environmentally conscious project was really enticing for me."
Cara is currently a member of the U.S. Green Building Council's Hawaii Chapter and is in the process of obtaining her
eco-broker certification. While not working Cara is an avid hiker and loves to surf. Cara is a fun loving and energetic spirit
with a commitment to honesty and satisfaction for all of her clients.
